And flowers are as close to happiness as one can get. My complete inability to wipe the world’s biggest smile off my face every Sunday morning is a testament to that. If you don’t already know, I am in love with fresh flowers. And pretty much every Sunday morning in my calendar is blocked our for the rest of eternity so I can take trips to Columbia Road flower market and pick up my own body weight in peonies, orchids and roses.

I brought May from Red Velvet London with me one weekend to partake in all this floral awesomeness and she got some shots of me in action, mostly struggling to keep hold of the 5 bouquets of flowers I grabbed up for £15. If you are after a good deal go either very early or very late. First thing in the morning you get your pick of the best blooms, and as the market shuts and the vendors want to get rid of their stock, you can pick up obscene amounts of seasonal flowers practically for free.
