I can never resist a good door. Every time I see one I like, I have this need to prop it up while a friend reluctantly takes a picture. Or 10. Le Marais has some of the best doors I have ever seen. It also has a number of quirky cafes, art shops, places to sit and watch life go by, or places to sit and watch your screen while you tap into the wifi of one of the countless coffee shops.

There is another thing I can’t resist in Le Marais. My absolute fave of the moment, and probably half the reason why I still struggle to fit into my skinny jeans, is Fred’s bakery. Actual name – Aux Merveilleux de Fred. They have one in London too… Which is the second half of the reason I can’t fit into my skinnies. They do these incredible meringue-coated bites. I think they are filled with cream, but I’d rather not know. Haha

If you want to supersize the deal, they also make the same thing in cake size. You’re welcome.
