Over the last week or so it legit feels like I have been drowning. Both physically and metaphorically. With work, study, assessments, fashion month and a bunch of photography projects, my plate has been rather full lately. And the Great British weather doesn’t seem to be letting up either, with every day being a rainy day.
For every item I manage to tick off my to-do list, 10 more come pouring in. I am literally trying to rescue the Titanic armed with only a bucket. Someone call Noah. And put out a ‘wanted’ ad for some divine intervention and many many cups of Earl Grey to get me though this.
But, while I wade through the mammoth workload, and try to personally outmatch the tea consumption of a small country, I am brightening up my long days with this crisp white and red getup. This was shot at the British Museum, next to my unofficial home (the UCL science library). I took a quick break from drowning in my to-do list to go and drown in a bit of classic British weather instead.
I am sure there is a silver linings joke in here somewhere but I am currently too busy pouring rain water out of my shoes to find it.
