Pont Des Arts, Paris

Pont Des Arts PFW SS17 Paris Fashion Week Blogger Photographer Style Alice Reinhardt Form 42

The next stop on mine and May’s Paris adventure was this charming little place opposite Pont Des Arts. The bridge itself is worth a visit too. One question though – if  one of the locks falls off the bridge, does that mean that relationship is dead in the water? Pont Alexandre III, Paris

Pont Alexandre III PFW SS17 Paris Fashion Week Blogger Photographer Style Alice Reinhardt Form 42

Digging really deep into the archives here, here are some shots May and I took on our weekend getaway to Paris. This was one of our first stops, and a must-see place on every blogger’s Paris bucket list – Pont Alexandre III. Close by the Grand Palais and at the foot of 8th arrondissement and Champs Elysees. Cross the bridge, walk past Grand Palais and turn left up the Champs Elysees to experience some of Paris’ best shopping, sightseeing and…

Hanging Out At Fred’s, Paris

Le Marais PFW SS17 Paris Fashion Week Blogger Photographer Style Alice Reinhardt Form 42

I can never resist a good door. Every time I see one I like, I have this need to prop it up while a friend reluctantly takes a picture. Or 10. Le Marais has some of the best doors I have ever seen. It also has a number of quirky cafes, art shops, places to sit and watch life go by, or places to sit and watch your screen while you tap into the wifi of one of the countless…

Le Marais, Paris

Le Marais PFW SS17 Paris Fashion Week Blogger Photographer Style Alice Reinhardt Form 42

Back in central Paris, I am taking a stroll through Le Marais, the quirky, cool, arty and hip part of paris. Like. There is very literal art on the walls. See picks of Cara above. A bunch of architects and designers have amazing apartments in this district. If you are stopping by Paris why not book a stay in one of them via Airbnb. You get all of the charm of old Parisian buildings on the outside with a minimal…

Ternes Markets, Paris

Ternes Market 17eme PFW SS17 Paris Fashion Week Blogger Photographer Style Alice Reinhardt Form 42

One of my favourite Parisian neighbourhoods is 17th arrondissement. It’s right in the centre of Paris, a 5 minute walk to Arc de Triomphe, but with a very quiet feel. It’s the place I go to relax, and get away from how busy the rest of Paris is. The best hidden gem about this neighbourhood is the market. Open most mornings it sells the freshest flowers, fruit and seafood I have ever tasted. I love taking an early morning stroll…

Palais Royale, Paris

Palais Royale PFW SS17 Paris Fashion Week Blogger Photographer Style Alice Reinhardt Form 42

Palais Royale Courtyard. This place, along with Pont Alexandre III, seems to be on every blogger’s Paris bucket list. Make sure it’s on yours. Also clearly a cross between an Alice-in-Wonderland chess set and Beetlejuice. Go early to avoid disappointment. Also crowds, and ice cream cones accidentally dropped on your feet. Or go in winter. If you like weird and minimal also head over to Palais de Tokyo (in Paris, not Tokyo). Stop by Pont Alexandre III on your way…

Arc De Triomphe, Paris

Arc de Triomphe PFW SS17 Paris Fashion Week Blogger Photographer Style Alice Reinhardt Form 42

I’ve been conquring new heights, and my fear of them, with this latest visit to one of my favourite spots and the heart of Paris – Arc de Triomphe. All of the streets converge at this spot and the disicts of Paris spiral out form here. It’s well worth the queue, especially on a cloudy day when taking pictures up there is an absolute dream. All the tones come out butter soft, and you can see all of Paris…

Inception Bridge, Paris

PFW SS17 Paris Fashion Week Blogger Photographer Style Alice Reinhardt Form 42

Next stop on my Parisian tour during Paris Fashion Week is the now famous bridge, used in the film Inception. I spent far too many years studying in the very classroom, library, university where Inception was filmed. So it was only fair that  I visit this big item on my Inception itinerary. Rocking my off duty getup, the pieces of which include: 1. The shoes which take a week to put on. 2. The backpack hugely favoured pretty…

Madeleine Cathedral, Paris

Hey guys, I am checking in from Paris Fashion Week and checking out a few of Paris’ top spots over the next few days. This amazing place is Madeleine, in the heart of Paris and right next to many of the other big tourist spots, Louvre and the macarons. A definite must-visit if you find you have a spare minute between munching on various types of croissant. Jacket: All Saints | Dress: Reiss | Shoes: Zara |…

Qarth, Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik Croatia Fashion Style Form 42

My next stop in Croatia and the next stop on my Game of Thrones tour was Qarth, aka Dubrovnik. And if you have been following my Croatia journey (an not just Croatia!) you’ll likely spot that I am wearing the same dress I was in one of my previous posts from Hvar. Because my wardrobe aspirations far outstrip both my budget and the size of my carry-on. This All Saints dress is a trooper and a perfect day-to-night piece.…

Following on from my previous post, on the top 5 things to do in Hvar, here is a photo diary of that 45 minute trek I mentioned to the top of the Fortress and the sunset watching I did while up there. If you are ever passing by Hvar, this, along with Carpe Diem (also in my last post), is to to be missed. So break out your fave pair of walking flip flops and start climbing those stairs.…

Plitvice

Plitvice Lakes Croatia Fashion Style Form 42

Plitvice Lakes was another stop on my Croatia tour and it was like a sparkly magical fairy tale land. We thought we would have enough time to cover off a decent chunk of the lakes in half a day. Ha! In half  day I probably made it about 500m in. Every single thing in sight is a perfect photo op, so I highly recommend leaving 2 days if you are really photo, nature, lakes…unicorns? It’s a bit of a remote…

King’s Landing, Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik Croatia Fashion Style Form 42

Guess where I am. That’s right, Game of Thrones’ King’s Landing. Aka Dubrovnik, Croatia. It sure does look a tad different without all the CGI, but I do love this place. Definitely feeling like a decent cocktail – on the rocks and icy. The water here is clearest and the coldest thing I have ever swam in. If you are ever passing by, it’s definitely worth a quick stop-over. Pictures by Alice Reinhardt (Form 42) and Olya (@piratelens).xx AliceConnect…
