It’s grey, its rainy, it’s Marmite. If you are British, you know exactly what I mean. If you aren’t, read on.

We Brits love hating on the weather. It’s that pointless and awkward conversation topic filling the air in lifts and near water coolers. And yet when faced with colder, wetter, sunnier, hotter, in fact any other weather… ha! Apparently the UK isn’t so bad all of sudden. You don’t have to plan your outfit for the seasons. Just expect to get rained on any and every day. Hint: leather is your friend. It also happens to look cool.

This weekend I decided to embrace whatever the sky decides to thrown at me. I took a walk up the hill to the Greenwich observatory to get to some of the views of London, or what was left of them since I couldn’t see much further than the Meridian line. Never mind.
