For me, Iceland has been all about roads. It takes hours of driving to get to some of the amazing sights that I got to see. And you really can’t see Iceland without a car. I probably should have opened my first Iceland post with this tip, shouldn’t have I?
Driving can be a little tiring, even if you are the passenger. So to cheer up your journey, take some Scandinavian magic on the road with you, namely Faroese band Byrta. Check out their tracks Loyndarmál and Eydnan. And don’t forget to pull over and take a little wander. Sometimes travel is about the journey, not just the destination.
