One of my favourite Parisian neighbourhoods is 17th arrondissement. It’s right in the centre of Paris, a 5 minute walk to Arc de Triomphe, but with a very quiet feel. It’s the place I go to relax, and get away from how busy the rest of Paris is. The best hidden gem about this neighbourhood is the market. Open most mornings it sells the freshest flowers, fruit and seafood I have ever tasted. I love taking an early morning stroll through and coming back home with all the groceries in brown paper bags. And making breakfast in my little kitchen, eating on the balcony and watching the sun rise round off over the Parisian rooftops. French romance aside, go, see, eat, great.
