I can somewhat proudly say that the last month or two I have been living on the go an out of a suitcase. Proudly because the suitcase was hand-luggage sized and the somewhat also because the suitcase was hand luggage sized. It took immense skill to pack 2 month’s worth of essentials into a carry-on and then lug it all over several continents. All this travel is also the reason for the extreme case of radio silence. Sorry. Kind of. The adventures were worth it, and I promise you guys will get to enjoy them too, as soon as I go though and edit over 30K images.
But for now I am in London, for a shoot with Boodles and a speedy layover between Asia and another Eurotrip. And guess what guys, London’s air con game is only strong in the office where it does its best to turn you into an icicle. Reseidentially-speaking you have to get very creative because 1. electricity ain’t cheap and 2. no landlord in their right mind would ever throw in an air con for free. As most tenants will tell you, you’d be lucky if they change the questionably-stained living room carpet. Blood or wine? You will never know.
So here I am, getting equipped to do battle with the August heat wave and a move to a new flat. Lots of sweating heavy lifting and mandatory iced drinks. Keeping it both cool and cool with white tones, crisp cottons and silks, lots of open windows, white flowers and of course lemon and cucumber infused ice water.
