Seljalandsoss Waterfall, Iceland

The beast part about this place is the hidden cave waterfall next door. It’s a bit a of a crawl through mud, up a river bed and through a cave, but once you are inside it feels amazing. You are standing inside a cave, with water dropping into it. This does mean one thing: wear some serious weather resistant gear. All that water being kicked up into the air has nowhere to go so it fills the cave. And wear some waterproof shoes for that trek up the river. And if you don’t believe me, take it from my camera. In just two minutes my state-of-the-art weather sealed baby was out of commission for 2 weeks from taking a bath in all that moisture.
